Journal Writing Challenge

I can't even begin to tell you how many technical problems I've had lately trying to get my blog up and running!  Frustrating, yes, but I know how important this challenge is for me and you!  I've moved to my new address Silver | Grey.  Hopefully (fingers crossed) there will be no problems with my new corner of the web.

I'm so excited about this journey!  It will also give me a chance to formally introduce myself to everyone, and more importantly, I can get to know my readers.

Just picked out a new journal.  I'm ready to fill each page with positive thoughts, goals, and things that I am grateful for.  I'm starting a Journal Writing Challenge.  Each day, I will post a prompt for us to use as inspiration for our journal entries.  I will be doing this challenge for 90 days, and at the end, we can share via Facebook Live how much our journal writing has impacted our lives.

I  can't express enough how important it is to write down our thoughts and feelings.  It gives you the opportunity to reflect and see progress.
It is also a great tool if you don't have anyone to talk to, or you find it difficult to open up to others.  It gets your creative juices flowing, and gives you a little time to focus and relax.

Let's take this fun journey together.  I will post all journal prompts here on Silver | Grey, my Instagram and Twitter Participate as little, or as much as you like.

You may want to only write weekly, or every other day, and that's perfectly fine, no pressure at all.  You write as much or as little as you'd like.  This challenge is to just get you writing.  I want everyone to see how impactful journaling can be.

And you don't have to spend a lot on your journal.  You can find inexpensive (but cute) ones at your local dollar store.  Now is the perfect time to pick up one all back-to-school items are all on sale.

I can't wait to begin!  See you tomorrow with our first prompt!  If you're joining us, please introduce yourself in the comments, I'd love to meet you.

  3. I love the idea of having a journal and I think that's why I love blogging. I find life at the moment is quite tough and if I wrote a daily journal now it wouldn't be pretty but I am going to start a gratitude journal in my bullet journal again this month as it is all positive. Good luck with your wonderful journal. x #TwinklyTuesday

  4. Writing everything down is very cathartic, much more so than keeping it all cooped up in your head! #twinklytuesday

    1. Very true!! Especially women, who tend to keep things to themselves and try to "stay strong" for their loved ones and friends. We internalize a lot, and don't realize it until we start having health problems. Thanks for always stopping by and commenting ❤️ #twinklytuesday

    1. Thanks so much! Writing down how I feel has been important to me, and it's something I've done as soon as I learned how to write and spell. I think writing is the most important form of communication and sharing.
